Esthetics

Program Overview

Esthetics is the non-medical, scientific branch of dermatology dedicated to skin health, non-invasive rejuvenation, and professional cosmetic enhancement. The Esthetic program at ISEST provides an intensive technical pathway for students who want to become elite skin therapists, clinical estheticians, and advanced cosmetic artists.

This program goes far beyond surface-level beauty routines, focusing heavily on skin histology, chemical composition, anatomical safety, and advanced treatment modalities. Enrolling at the HND level and progressing to a B.Tech, students divide their time between state-of-the-art aesthetic laboratories and real-world client clinics. They master complex mechanical facial treatments, chemical exfoliation protocols, specific skin condition management (such as hyperpigmentation and acne scarring), and high-definition media makeup artistry. Graduates emerge as deeply knowledgeable skin experts fully capable of working in medical spas, alongside clinical dermatologists, or heading high-end lifestyle wellness brands.

Main Objectives

  • To teach the biological systems of the human body, with expert focus on the skeletal, muscular, and integumentary (skin, hair, nails) systems.
  • To build complete technical mastery in performing clinical skin analyses, barrier health evaluations, and treatment planning.
  • To train students in the safe execution of advanced non-medical procedures, including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and mechanical extraction.
  • To develop specialized proficiency in high-definition (HD), bridal, camouflage, and theatrical media makeup application.
  • To equip graduates with the administrative and technical skills to manage spa compliance, maintain sanitation standards, and direct client conversion pipelines.
