At ISEST, quality education is not a promise; it is a practice. Every element of the student experience is designed to deliver academic rigour, practical mastery, and professional readiness.
ISEST’s approach to quality is built on six interdependent pillars that together ensure every graduate leaves equipped to make an immediate, meaningful contribution to the workforce and society.
ISEST’s academic structure is designed to give every student a clear, supported pathway from their initial qualification all the way to postgraduate study.
The foundation of an ISEST education. Students choose from over 30 specialisations across 7 schools, completing a rigorous blend of theory, laboratory practicals, field work, and industry internship. The HND is a nationally recognised, employable qualification in its own right and the launchpad for further study.
HND graduates can top up to a full Bachelor of Technology degree in just one additional year. The B-Tech deepens technical knowledge, adds leadership and project management skills, and significantly enhances graduate employability and salary prospects. Students complete an industry-based final project as their capstone.
B-Tech graduates may proceed to a Master’s Degree programme offered through ISEST’s sister institution, Yaoundé International Business School (YIBS) in Partnership with the University of Bamenda (UBa). Master’s programs combine advanced technical specialisation with leadership, research, and strategic management skills; preparing graduates for senior professional and academic roles.
ISEST’s facilities are purpose-built for practical, hands-on technical education. Every laboratory and workshop is equipped to professional standards, ensuring students train in conditions that mirror the workplaces they will enter.
High-specification workstations equipped with current development tools, operating systems, networking software, and design applications; the foundation of all Computer Engineering programs.
A clinical-grade laboratory facility for Medical and Biomedical Sciences students, including equipment for medical laboratory science, midwifery simulation, pharmaceutical technology practice, and physiotherapy.
A fully equipped fashion and clothing technology workshop with professional-grade sewing machines, pattern-making equipment, design tables, and mannequins.
Dedicated networking infrastructure with routers, switches, patch panels, fibre optic kits, and security apparatus; enabling hands-on training in network installation, configuration, and cybersecurity.
A dedicated clinical simulation suite for Midwifery and Nursing students, equipped with anatomical models, birthing simulation equipment, IV practice arms, and clinical assessment tools.
Students are assessed through a combination of coursework assignments, practical reports, laboratory work, seminar presentations, and mid-semester evaluations; ensuring learning is ongoing and well-supported throughout the academic year.
All technical programmes include practical examinations that assess students’ ability to apply knowledge in real laboratory, field, or workshop settings.
A supervised industry internship and final project report is a required component of all HND programs, ensuring students integrate classroom learning with professional workplace experience before graduation.
Formal examinations administered at the end of each semester ensure comprehensive assessment of both theoretical understanding and applied knowledge across all course modules.
ISEST offers free certification seminars aligned with internationally recognised professional certifications in IT, project management, digital marketing, and other fields; giving students globally competitive credentials.
All ISEST degrees and diplomas are issued under national authorization, ensuring full recognition by employers, the civil service, and higher educational institutions in Cameroon and internationally.
