Modern industrial economies and urbanization depend entirely on safe, reliable, and highly efficient electrical infrastructure. The Electrical Power System program at ISEST is a core technical engineering discipline designed to train power engineers, grid operators, and industrial electrical specialists who can design, install, monitor, and maintain high-voltage and low-voltage electrical transmission and distribution networks.
This program goes far beyond basic building wiring, focusing on heavy power generation, electrical machine mechanics, distribution grid safety, substations, and modern green energy grid integration. Enrolling at the HND level and progressing to a B.Tech, students train in high-voltage testing bays and industrial motor laboratories. They master electrical design drafting, high-power transformer maintenance, protective relay coordination, and modern smart grid configurations. Graduates emerge fully prepared to operate within national energy utilities, oversee electrical installations on massive infrastructure projects, and manage complex industrial power networks.
HSE & Electrical Safety: Executing strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols and designing fault protection loops to mitigate workplace arc flashes.
Graduates can pursue roles such as:
Take command of the grids and machines that power modern society. Design industrial networks, deploy protective relay systems, and ensure energy safety with the Electrical Power System program.
