Before any road can be paved, any bridge suspended, or any high-rise foundation dug, the land must be precisely measured, mapped, and mathematically defined. The Topography (Land Surveying and Geomatics) program at ISEST trains students to accurately capture, analyse, and manage spatial data to guide major civil engineering and construction projects.
This hands-on program bridges the gap between traditional field measurements and cutting-edge geomatics technology. Enrolling at the HND level and progressing to a B.Tech, students master advanced instrumentation like electronic Total Stations, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS/GPS), and drone-based photogrammetry. They graduate with the precise legal and engineering skills required to map complex land profiles, establish boundary lines, and deliver clean geospatial data for infrastructural development.
Graduates of the program will be proficient in:
Graduates can pursue roles such as:
Measure. Map. Manage.
Define the coordinates of development. Master the satellite systems, high-precision instruments, and spatial software that map out the future of infrastructure with the Topography program.
